Common questions

The app can't hear anything

Everyday Looper needs microphone access to record. Open the Settings app, find Everyday Looper, and make sure Microphone is turned on. Video recording additionally needs Camera access.

Do I need headphones?

No. Echo cancellation lets you loop through the speaker without the mic picking up what's already playing. Headphones still give the cleanest result when you want it.

Where are my loops stored?

Everything you record stays on your device. Nothing is uploaded, and nobody else can access it. Because of that, deleting the app also deletes your recordings — export anything you want to keep before you do.

Something sounds out of sync

The app compensates for input and output latency automatically, but Bluetooth audio adds delay that varies by device. If timing feels off, try wired headphones or the built-in speaker to compare.

Purchases and subscriptions

Any purchases are handled entirely by Apple — I never see your payment information.

• Manage or cancel a subscription
• Request a refund from Apple
• To restore a previous purchase on a new device, use Restore Purchases in the app while signed in with the same Apple Account

Reporting a bug

Bug reports genuinely help. The most useful ones include:

• Your device and iOS version
• What you were doing when it happened
• Whether it happens every time
• A screenshot or screen recording, if you have one

Privacy

Your recordings never leave your device, and analytics are anonymous. I don't hold any personal data about you. Full details are in the privacy policy.
